C and M had a productive time at Fun With Fabric today, while the kids had great fun rearranging all the furniture!
This is M's table runner - approaching 5 foot long she has stitched it all by hand, and the gold squares have been quilted by hand too. She needs to get the binding fabric, but in the meantime we had a sewing machine lesson today, and she is going to now quilt some of the green squares by machine
C has finished these two stockings, but Toby's needs a bit more work. Today she brought along a design for an appliqued dragon - about 20" across - which she wants to make as a floor cushion
No previous sewing experience required! Come and join us for a fun couple of hours, and learn to make...something! For children: junk wall art, animal scarves, customised clothing, monsters... And for adults: A Patchwork Quilt, A Cushion, A Christmas Stocking, A Hand Bag, A Changing Mat, A Child’s Toy, A Useful Basket All abilities catered for, and any project can be considered!
